Gabriel Maia took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Veríssimo. Rui Veríssimo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute Gabriel Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Veríssimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Veríssimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Maia in the 30th minute of the match. Diogo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Veríssimo having to interfere. If Sabino Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antero Prestes in the 39th minute. The supporters of Trazoeira booed when Kas Sport Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Mota hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diogo Neves came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rui Veríssimo could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Amaro during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, one of Trazoeira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trazoeira. Rui Veríssimo came out of the goal and Diogo Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trazoeira's Rodrigo Mota got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Rodrigo Mota off the ground. The supporters of Kas Sport Clube booed when Trazoeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Trazoeira got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Maia. Kas Sport Clube's Sabino Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Veríssimo having to interfere. Eusébio Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Brito in the 89th minute of play. Rui Veríssimo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Neves in the 91st minute. Kas Sport Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Diogo Neves scored to the left of an out of position Rui Veríssimo, making the score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
