Spectators: 7054 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 1) Rodrigo Assis made the kick off and thus started the match. When Avelino Varanda fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pardinhas's protests and gave Avelino Varanda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fabarrelinho FC booed when Pardinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avelino Varanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 minutes, Alexandre Miranda made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pardinhas's Edgar Vargas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fabarrelinho FC's Inácio Pires got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Inácio Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pardinhas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Filipe Paiva hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pardinhas's zone, Simão Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Vargas came out of the goal and Simão Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Miranda in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Pardinhas's Rodrigo Assis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Veiga. Afonso Veiga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 17th match minute, Fabarrelinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Simão Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simão Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fabarrelinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Miranda couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Fabarrelinho FC's Simão Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Vargas having to interfere. Avelino Varanda got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alexandre Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Simão Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Afonso Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octávio Seabra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Faro made a kick off. Heitor Setúbal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Edgar Vargas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabarrelinho FC's Alexandre Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Vargas. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. Rodrigo Assis's late challenge caught a Fabarrelinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Assis helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Pardinhas got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Assis. After 60 played minutes Pardinhas got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Assis. In the 64th match minute, Pardinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octávio Seabra to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Simão Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pardinhas's Edgar Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edgar Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Pardinhas's goalkeeper Edgar Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Miranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Viana in the 80th minute of play forced Fabarrelinho FC's goalkeeper Afonso Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Pires hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Viana in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Veiga saved Fabarrelinho FC from getting behind. Altino Rijo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Heitor Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edgar Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabarrelinho FC played a much better game than Pardinhas and deserved their victory. The Pardinhas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
