Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teófilo Morais in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aprígio Seixas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Severiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Guterres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Teodoro Guterres took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aprígio Seixas to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, SC Avanca's Nuno Delgado got a free kick in the 25th minute. Teófilo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aprígio Seixas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teófilo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermes Queirós in the 43rd minute of play forced GonDua's goalkeeper Cláudio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermes Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cláudio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Teófilo Morais made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teófilo Morais in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aprígio Seixas saved SC Avanca from getting behind. Hermes Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermes Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Teófilo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aprígio Seixas having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, SC Avanca's goal looked a bit too open when Teófilo Morais came free, but Aprígio Seixas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Inácio Severiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Diego Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GonDua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Avanca the free kick. Cláudio Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermes Queirós in the 75th minute of the match. Juvenal Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the match, GonDua's goal looked a bit too open when Hermes Queirós came free, but Cláudio Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aprígio Seixas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teófilo Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Nuno Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Avanca and the GonDua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Delgado hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. SC Avanca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
