All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute Duarte Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Sabrosa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Sabrosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimas Diegues couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Aloísio Pais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloísio Pais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Telhadouro FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hilário Machado hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Telhadouro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sabrosa to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
