SC Lobagueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernardo Graça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Brito having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Bernardo Graça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sílvio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Pires was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lobagueira's goalkeeper Domingos Sales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Domingos Sales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Pires came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Bragado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pires couldn't finish the play. Gil Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Leal in the 66th minute of the match. If Pedro Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Bragado's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Graça came free, but Gil Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Porto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Diamantino Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bragado's Pedro Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SC Lobagueira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bragado's performance. The match ended with a win for Bragado.
