Ricardo Igrejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Leiria having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Franco during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arguedeira's Pedro Franco got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, João Jordão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sistelo's Aloísio Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sistelo from getting a goal against them. João Jordão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aloísio Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Sistelo's Sabino Igrejas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aloísio Leiria was a little too slow when João Jordão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Igrejas in the 29th minute of play forced Arguedeira's goalkeeper Filipe Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Igrejas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aloísio Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Jordão, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes, Artur Raposo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sistelo and the Arguedeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artur Raposo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ricardo Igrejas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Leiria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Filipe Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Igrejas in the 40th minute of the match. Ricardo Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If João Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sistelo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Donato Freire hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Ricardo Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Jordão in the 68th minute of play forced Sistelo's goalkeeper Aloísio Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Jordão in the 75th minute of play. When Ricardo Igrejas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Arguedeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Igrejas couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Arguedeira got a freekick which was hit by João Jordão. 88 minutes into the match, Arguedeira's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Freire came free, but Filipe Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Sistelo's Sabino Igrejas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Ramalho. Filipe Ramalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.
