Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SC Cabanas's Ivan Gomes got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Adélio Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Alípio Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC Pedraido fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when SC Pedraido's Bernardo Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adélio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rafael Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Cabanas's Julião Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julião Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Ribeiro having to make a save. Durval Passos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cândido Monteiro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Monteiro in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Cabanas's goalkeeper Durval Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Cabanas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Pedraido were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cândido Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cândido Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Passos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cândido Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bernardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Cabanas's Durval Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Monteiro in the 62nd minute of play. When Julião Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SC Cabanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julião Madureira couldn't finish the play. Julião Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adélio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ribeiro having to interfere. Julião Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, SC Pedraido's goal looked a bit too open when Julião Madureira came free, but Rafael Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Pedraido's José Morais suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 77 minutes, Enzo Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cabanas and the SC Pedraido players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bernardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Pedraido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Silva couldn't finish the play. Cândido Monteiro's late challenge caught a SC Cabanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cândido Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. Cândido Monteiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Anselmo Quirino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pedraido's Rafael Ribeiro didn't even have to move. Julião Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, SC Pedraido's goal looked a bit too open when Adélio Queirós came free, but Rafael Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Pedraido supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Pedraido would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
