Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Ramos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, OS CRUZADOS's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Rodrigues came free, but Antero Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Silvério dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antero Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Clemente Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Silvério dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Segade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OS CRUZADOS the free kick. A collision led to SC Segade getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Abel Figueiredo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Segade's zone, Aquilino Lage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Neto came out of the goal and Aquilino Lage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Ramos scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antero Cordeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Silvério dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Clemente Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antero Cordeiro. OS CRUZADOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Silvério dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Antero Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes, José Ramos made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. OS CRUZADOS's Antero Cordeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antero Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ramos in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to SC Segade getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Clemente Rodrigues hit a great ball. If Aquilino Lage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half SC Segade were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hélder Monteiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of SC Segade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OS CRUZADOS:s goal. SC Segade:s José Neto showed great skill when he stopped Adelino Júdice:s penalty. 57 minutes into the match, Adelino Júdice notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of SC Segade's José Neto. José Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Lage in the 60th minute of play forced SC Segade's goalkeeper José Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Segade's José Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Silvério dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match Catarino Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Neto skillfully saved the ball. When Gentil Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OS CRUZADOS's protests and gave Gentil Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes OS CRUZADOS got a freekick which was hit by Gentil Furtado. After 77 played minutes SC Segade got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Rodrigues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Júdice in the 78th minute of play forced SC Segade's goalkeeper José Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Lage in the 83rd minute of play. 2-4 became the score in the 84th minute when Aquilino Lage elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 88th minute, OS CRUZADOS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvério dos Santos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, OS CRUZADOS's Catarino Martins got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Abel Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Segade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antero Cordeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 92 minute of play. José Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Antero Cordeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvério dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Antero Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Segade's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
