After a rather tough play, Ormal FC's Pedro Pedroso got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 12th minute, Xavier Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Xavier Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Santos. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Xavier Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Noel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucílio Macieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Paredes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ormal FC's Afonso Borba got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Constancia FC booed when Ormal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Sandro Gentil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Amílcar Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xavier Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Noel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Igor Carmona fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amílcar Paredes, passed just outside the right post. Horácio Gomes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Amílcar Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constancia FC. Horácio Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Xavier Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ormal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Gentil kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ormal FC's Cândido Cardoso tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Noel Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Barros in the 78th minute of play. Ormal FC's Amílcar Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ormal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Pedro Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Catarino Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucílio Macieira came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Constancia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucílio Macieira couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Afonso Borba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ormal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Constancia FC the free kick. Afonso Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
