After 36 minutes of play, Pelma's Paulo Castanheira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Modesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Tovim's Marcelo Onofre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ricardo Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Avelar went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
