In the 6th match minute, Randam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Ribas to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Carmona having to interfere. Amílcar Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paulo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Palmazes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Randam FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Pinho came free, but Cláudio Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Randam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Vieira came free, but Cláudio Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Andrade in the 37th minute of play forced Randam FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Aguiar in the 42nd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Graciano Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Aguiar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Rafael Borges sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Randam FC's Cláudio Carmona didn't even have to move. Amílcar Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Carmona having to interfere. With his leg Cláudio Carmona managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Palmazes's Amílcar Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Randam FC's Cláudio Carmona got control of the ball when Amílcar Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Randam FC's zone, Amílcar Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Carmona came out of the goal and Amílcar Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílcar Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmazes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
