Spectators: 7127 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingmar Haglund started the match with the kick off. When RDA Algueirao's Ingmar Haglund in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SLB.BENFICA's goalie prevented a goal. RDA Algueirao:s Eusébio Fonseca showed great skill when he stopped Higino Santos:s penalty. Eusébio Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micael Amado in the 7th minute of play. After 9th play minutes Ingmar Haglund shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Anselmo Castro and just under the crossbar into goal. Ingmar Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anselmo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Haglund's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, SLB.BENFICA's Flávio lacerda got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Paulo Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RDA Algueirao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Manuel Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingmar Haglund came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anselmo Castro could save by the left post. In the 34th minute, RDA Algueirao's Ingmar Haglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Castro. Anselmo Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Haglund in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Castro saved SLB.BENFICA from getting behind. RDA Algueirao's Eusébio Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael Amado in the 46th minute of play. Anselmo Castro stood somewhat misplaced when Ingmar Haglund came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 48 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Regueira was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SLB.BENFICA's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Haglund came free, but Anselmo Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Luz in the 56th minute of play forced SLB.BENFICA's goalkeeper Anselmo Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Gusmão's late challenge caught a RDA Algueirao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Gusmão helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes RDA Algueirao got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Paiva. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Castro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Regueira in the 64th minute of play forced RDA Algueirao's goalkeeper Eusébio Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Luz struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Anselmo Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RDA Algueirao. Anselmo Castro came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by RDA Algueirao's Ingmar Haglund. But to his dismay, Ingmar Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When RDA Algueirao's Ingmar Haglund in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SLB.BENFICA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th match minute, SLB.BENFICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingmar Haglund went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Paulo Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SLB.BENFICA's zone, Ingmar Haglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Castro came out of the goal and Ingmar Haglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, SLB.BENFICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermes Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Gusmão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusébio Fonseca firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joaquim Paiva struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anselmo Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RDA Algueirao. Anselmo Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Haglund's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. If Ingmar Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Castro came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by RDA Algueirao's Paulo Brito. But to his dismay, Paulo Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RDA Algueirao fully deserved thier win.
