The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogério Castelo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Emanuel Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ByeBye FC's Leandro Estrada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Torcato Lessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ByeBye FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Terruge the free kick. Torcato Lessa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Américo Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Estrada skillfully saved the ball. António Cunha made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Romão Carvalhais sent off a good shot on target. With 20 minutes on the clock, Bernardo Branco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of SC Terruge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ByeBye FC:s goal. In the 27th minute, Emanuel Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Terruge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leandro Estrada came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Terruge's Emanuel Azevedo. But to his dismay, Emanuel Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leandro Estrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Oliveira Branco put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Estrada. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, António Cunha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romão Carvalhais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Cunha having to interfere. The ByeBye FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Terruge were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Marcos Águas made the kick off in the second half. Abel Monsanto's late challenge caught a SC Terruge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Monsanto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Terruge booed when ByeBye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Monsanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Carvalhais in the 78th minute of play forced SC Terruge's goalkeeper António Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, ByeBye FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliveira Branco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, ByeBye FC's Leandro Estrada got control of the ball when Oliveira Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Castelo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Leandro Estrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Rogério Castelo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Matos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. SC Terruge's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
