Daniel Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bernardo Fernandes made a huge save. Paulo Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Quadrazais's Pedro Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Quadrazais's zone, Alfredo Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Fernandes came out of the goal and Alfredo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Daniel Amaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardo Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Mascotelos's zone, Pedro Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Dantas came out of the goal and Pedro Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quadrazais's Bernardo Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Quadrazais from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Daniel Leiria sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alfredo Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Amaro in the 67th minute of play forced Mascotelos's goalkeeper Bernardo Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Daniel Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quadrazais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th play minute Pedro Nascimento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernardo Dantas. 0-2. The Quadrazais supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quadrazais would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
