Spectators: 7255 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) 3 minutes into the match, Sousanil's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Villani came free, but Rúben Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rúben Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erivaldo Xavier in the 4th minute. Anfilogino Villani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rúben Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Vicente Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vicente Borba hit a great ball. If Christian Forlani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute, Erivaldo Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Eurico Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Forlani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sousanil's zone, Christian Forlani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rúben Arruda came out of the goal and Christian Forlani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sousanil's Yuri Ferro got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Leme during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Candal came free, but Marco Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Rúben Arruda managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS's Erivaldo Xavier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rúben Arruda made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Christian Forlani sent off a good shot on target. BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS's Christian Forlani got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anfilogino Villani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rúben Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Borba in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Forlani made a kick off. Rúben Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Villani, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Heiner Kupper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS's Marco Moutinho got control of the ball when Joaquim Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to Sousanil's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Vicente Borba tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Rúben Arruda seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. 66 minutes into the match, Sousanil's Eurico Candal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rúben Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erivaldo Xavier went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Christian Forlani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Durval Cavaco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sousanil's protests and gave Durval Cavaco a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Sousanil got a freekick which was hit by Durval Cavaco. 79 minutes into the game, Eurico Candal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Moutinho. Eurico Candal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Anfilogino Villani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christian Forlani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Erivaldo Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Rúben Arruda. Sousanil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There was no doubt that BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS were the better team. BENFICA PENAS VERMELHAS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
