In the 4th play minute Eduardo Anjos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Palmiro Camacho. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Artur Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Taboeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Jorge Baião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Taboeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eirado FC the free kick. Jorge Baião kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Artur Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lucas Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Taboeira defense, Eduardo Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Palmiro Camacho. The SC Taboeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Palmiro Camacho should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Eirado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Quirino came free, but Lucas Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Neto took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Amaral. Lucas Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lucas Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Neto was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Baião in the 54th minute. The attack was good, but when Eduardo Anjos in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Aleixo in the 60th minute of play forced SC Taboeira's goalkeeper Palmiro Camacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Bulhosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Lucas Amaral made a huge save. Eduardo Anjos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palmiro Camacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Afonso Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes of play, SC Taboeira's Lisandro Quirino made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Bruno Cabral had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Quirino during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Taboeira getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lisandro Quirino hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Taboeira booed when Eirado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eirado FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
