Cláudio Graça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adélio Amaro in the 44th minute of the match. Homero Vidigal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Homero Vidigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Valido having to interfere. Adélio Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arões SC's Homero Vidigal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Homero Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Freire in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Arões SC were awarded a corner. Gil Quirino went to the cornerflag to take it. Arões SC's Gil Quirino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Valido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Normando Freire blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Valido having to make a save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cruz's goalkeeper Vítor Valido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, SC Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Freire came free, but Vítor Valido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
