Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseu Madureira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Romão Paredes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adolfo Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Candal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Massama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Teles to maneuver through the defense. If Jacinto Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vítor Candal came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Massama FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Candal couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the SC Carrapatoso defense, Vítor Candal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Infante. The SC Carrapatoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Infante should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Vítor Candal made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Infante. SC Carrapatoso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Adolfo Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Candal in the 34th minute of play. Bernardo Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Adolfo Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vítor Candal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Massama FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eliseu Madureira scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romão Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th match minute, SC Carrapatoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Faria to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Santiago Estrada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romão Paredes. Massama FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Estrada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 64th minute Eliseu Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romão Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Santiago Estrada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romão Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Luís Faria hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Santiago Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romão Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Madureira in the 76th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, SC Carrapatoso's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Rebocho came free, but Adolfo Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romão Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Estrada in the 89th minute of the match. Jacinto Rebocho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Infante having to interfere. When SC Carrapatoso's Santiago Estrada in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Massama FC's goalie prevented a goal.
