In the 16th minute of the match Vítor Fontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Figueira skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Guerreiro having to interfere. Adolfo Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julião Moniz in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abel Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Touvedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Touvedo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jorge Figueiredo hit a great ball. Joel Veríssimo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adolfo Guerreiro. SC Touvedo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 played minutes SC Touvedo got a freekick which was hit by João Gaspar. The Pixenelas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Touvedo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
