Carlos Aires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Basílio Leite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Basílio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Aires in the 16th minute. Carlos Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Leite came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bemviuda's Carlos Aires. But to his dismay, Carlos Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Alfredo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gibaltar FC's Basílio Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gibaltar FC from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Osvaldo Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Monteiros short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Osvaldo Gaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Basílio Leite came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bemviuda's Miguel Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Miguel Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Carlos Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Leite having to interfere. Basílio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Nóbrega in the 69th minute of play. Basílio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Basílio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, José Prates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bemviuda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gibaltar FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Bemviuda.
