After a rather tough play, Gado Suíno e Bovino's Sílvio Sales got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Gado Suíno e Bovino's Estevão Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilídio Gois in the 6th minute of play. If Ilídio Gois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Henrique Fragoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesualdo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Fragoso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jesualdo Vilaverde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gado Suíno e Bovino. 17 minutes into the match, Assafarge FC's goalkeeper Jesualdo Vilaverde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Nóbrega. 18 minutes into the match, Evandro Nóbrega notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Assafarge FC's Jesualdo Vilaverde. Jesualdo Vilaverde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilídio Gois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Alves having to interfere. Ilídio Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesualdo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Fragoso in the 26th minute of play. Assafarge FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Henrique Fragoso 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Ilídio Gois cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Estevão Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesualdo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Fragoso in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ilídio Gois had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estevão Alves. Gado Suíno e Bovino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilídio Gois was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Fragoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilídio Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gado Suíno e Bovino's Henrique Fragoso got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesualdo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Nóbrega in the 59th minute of play. Ilídio Gois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Estevão Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Fragoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jesualdo Vilaverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesualdo Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Evandro Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gado Suíno e Bovino's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesualdo Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Assafarge FC's zone, Henrique Fragoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesualdo Vilaverde came out of the goal and Henrique Fragoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evandro Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesualdo Vilaverde having to interfere. Jesualdo Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Fragoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesualdo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Nóbrega in the 91st minute of play. Gado Suíno e Bovino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
