Reginaldo Bacelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Lizer in the 12th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, F.C.VPA's Cristóvão Ferro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reginaldo Bacelar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 姚战崇 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reginaldo Bacelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 姚战崇 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginaldo Bacelar having to make a save. In the 38th minute, 董军志 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Garcia made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Reinaldo Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Lizer in the 40th minute of play forced Meires's goalkeeper Reginaldo Bacelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reinaldo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Lizer to make the kick off. 姚战崇 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Reginaldo Bacelar made a huge save. Sebastião Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Barbosa in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Meires's goal looked a bit too open when 董军志 came free, but Reginaldo Bacelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Lizer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. F.C.VPA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cirilo Lizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reginaldo Bacelar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Lizer ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirilo Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cirilo Lizer came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the F.C.VPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Lizer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董军志 in the 78th minute of play forced Meires's goalkeeper Reginaldo Bacelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, F.C.VPA's Cirilo Lizer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Meires fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C.VPA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
