The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Aguiar got free with Emanuel Conde in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saúl Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Damásio's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Daniel Portugal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Damásio in the 14th minute of play forced Portimonense's goalkeeper Saúl Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Damásio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Ivan Ventura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Portimonense's Hermes Cavaco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Conde. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Mauro Damásio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Damásio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portimonense's Saúl Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Damásio in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Aguiar got free with Emanuel Conde in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saúl Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Hermes Cavaco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Conde. The goal made the score 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Portugal was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the game, one of Portimonense:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Daniel Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perre FC's Mauro Damásio got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Fraga hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Hermes Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgílio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Emanuel Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Perre FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Normando Bulhosa hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Hermes Cavaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Hermes Cavaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Conde was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
