Hipólito lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cláudio Carvalho made a huge save. Cláudio Queiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Hipólito lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of KID CUDI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falagueiro:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Falagueiro. Bernardo Baião stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cláudio Carvalho. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, KID CUDI FC's Márcio Morais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Silvano Quintas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipólito lago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio Carvalho firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 34th minute Silvano Quintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Quintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Vale having to interfere. Silvano Quintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th play minute Hipólito lago came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cláudio Carvalho. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Quintas in the 47th minute of play forced Falagueiro's goalkeeper Paulo Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Tarcísio Henriques made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Vale stood somewhat misplaced when Silvano Quintas came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Silvano Quintas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Falagueiro's Dércio Távora got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hipólito lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Cláudio Queiroga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KID CUDI FC and the Falagueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Vale came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by KID CUDI FC's Márcio Morais. But to his dismay, Márcio Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Cláudio Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcísio Henriques in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, KID CUDI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermano Cavaco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KID CUDI FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Cláudio Queiroga hit a great ball. Bernardo Baião took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cláudio Carvalho. KID CUDI FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The KID CUDI FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KID CUDI FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
