The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Castro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Silvadal booed when Castrelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Poças in the 6th minute of the match. Nélson Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Silvadal getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ivan Rodrigues hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Rui Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castrelos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvadal the free kick. After 14 played minutes Castrelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Pacheco. Cássio Poças scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Cássio Poças ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The throw-in from Tomás Maltez in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Castrelos FC's Henrique Monteiro. Cássio Poças received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hugo Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Cássio Poças cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hugo Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Silvadal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fabrício Bernardes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Poças's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Moura firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cássio Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Moura having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Laurentino Osório mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silvadal and the Castrelos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Silvadal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castrelos FC:s goal. Rodrigo Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Poças could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Hugo Moura made a huge save. Cássio Poças succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 87th playminute. Hugo Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Domingos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cássio Poças managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silvadal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Poças was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Poças struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Hugo Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvadal.
