After 16 minutes, Isidro Ruas made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Futebol Club Borel's Abílio Paiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Micael Rangel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Micael Rangel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Futebol Club Borel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micael Rangel couldn't finish the play. Isidro Ruas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Micael Rangel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Torcato having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micael Rangel got free with Eduardo Torcato in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wilson Lencastre came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Futebol Club Borel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Lencastre couldn't finish the play. Kevin Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abílio Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head.

After a rather tough play, Futebol Club Borel's Honorato Sacadura got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Sacadura during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Sacadura kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. SC Preladas's Eduardo Torcato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael Rangel in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Basílio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Preladas's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abílio Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélio Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Futebol Club Borel's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Ruas came free, but Abílio Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, SC Preladas's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Aveiro came free, but Eduardo Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Torcato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micael Rangel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futebol Club Borel succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Preladas had controlled the match.
