Danilo Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Assafarge's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Freitas came free, but Danilo Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Henrique Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Benedito Liberato fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bocal's protests and gave Benedito Liberato a yellow card for diving instead. When Heitor Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Assafarge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Meireles couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 80 played minutes Bocal got a freekick which was hit by Hamilton Machado. After 96 played minutes Assafarge got a freekick which was hit by Josué Rios. When the final whistle sounded Bocal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Assafarge.
