António Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Eusébio Assunção quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Domingos Mota made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nélson Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. Micael Ferro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingos Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Micael Ferro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, vitorinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Campos to maneuver through the defense. António Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Esteves in the 27th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Micael Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nélson Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Mota having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nélson Pacheco during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Concela's Cláudio Esteves in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye vitorinha's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, vitorinha's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Esteves came free, but António Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, vitorinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Campos to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Amílcar Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Ramos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Micael Ferro was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cláudio Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Ramos. vitorinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. vitorinha's António Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Assunção in the 60th minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Cláudio Esteves from a close distance when the talented António Ramos managed to make a qualified save. vitorinha's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Setúbal during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes vitorinha got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Setúbal. When Eusébio Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Concela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Assunção couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Ramos having to interfere. Sandro Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Concela got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Alves. Micael Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Domingos Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg António Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Concela's Cláudio Esteves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reginaldo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The corner led Concela's Domingos Trindade to fire away a dangerous shot which António Ramos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Cláudio Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nélson Pacheco in the 91st minute of the match. vitorinha's António Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save vitorinha from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
