Boleiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elton John Bosco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Cabral came out of the goal and Elton John Bosco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, Boleiros FC's João Faria made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Taveira made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Boleiros FC's Elton John Bosco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Elton John Bosco came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Boleiros FC fans jumped to their feet. Paulo Cabral stood somewhat misplaced when Elton John Bosco came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 77 minute. Paulo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elton John Bosco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elton John Bosco got free with Paulo Cabral in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cabral having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Elton John Bosco put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Cabral. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Lucas during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Boleiros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leixonenses F.C. throughout the match.
