But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Cauchi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Caldeira in the 21st minute of play forced Anti FCP Football Team's goalkeeper Nuno Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedrick Ring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Cedrick Ring made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Serpa. SC Serrazina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Edmond Cauchi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Serpa. Samuel Serpa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 44 minutes, Edmond Cauchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anti FCP Football Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Cauchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cedrick Ring to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Cedrick Ring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Serpa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Xavier Maia's late challenge caught a SC Serrazina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Maia helped the player get up and apologised. SC Serrazina's Samuel Serpa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Cauchi in the 62nd minute of play. Cedrick Ring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Serpa having to interfere. Heitor Mafra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nuno Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Joel Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Samuel Serpa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Edmond Cauchi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anti FCP Football Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Nuno Cruz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Heitor Mafra sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes Anti FCP Football Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timóteo Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SC Serrazina's corner Timóteo Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nuno Cruz quite easily take care of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Paulo Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cedrick Ring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anti FCP Football Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Cedrick Ring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Serpa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes Anti FCP Football Team got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Freitas. When Cedrick Ring came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Anti FCP Football Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedrick Ring couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Anti FCP Football Team's Joel Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Serpa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Anti FCP Football Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
