In the 7th minute Silverio Fagildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Porfírio Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Fundada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fura Redes the free kick. In the 8th minute, Porfírio Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Jaroch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Távora having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Silverio Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fura Redes's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Fagildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Távora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee gave SC Fura Redes a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
