Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Valido started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Lubazim's Quintino Azevedo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, EZLN's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Valido came free, but Rui Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, SC Lubazim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Boaventura to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Quintino Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lubazim and the EZLN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Lubazim's Quintino Azevedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Nuno Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Isidoro Baião made a huge save. After a rather tough play, EZLN's Vasco Gonçalves got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cristiano Valido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. Cristiano Valido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rui Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolau Boaventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicolau Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lubazim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolau Boaventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Valido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasco Gonçalves made a kick off. Cristiano Valido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Pedro Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lubazim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EZLN the free kick. After having played for 71 minutes, Nuno Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EZLN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicolau Boaventura came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Lubazim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolau Boaventura couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristiano Valido managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lubazim's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Valido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filinto Barata might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filinto Barata ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Lubazim were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
