SC Segoes's Graciano Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Borges in the 12th minute of play. Afonso Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Graciano Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustavo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Segoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graciano Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Borges in the 25th minute of play. Vicente Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Segoes's Graciano Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SC Segoes from getting a goal against them. SC Segoes's Graciano Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Borges in the 30th minute of play. Miguel Morais hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, SC Segoes's Fabiano Balsemão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Sá came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Segoes reached it. Afonso Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Dantas to make the kick off. Gustavo Dantas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Segoes. SC Segoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Caetano Severo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Graciano Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Viegas in the 79th minute of the match. Graciano Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. B.Z. FC had played much better football throughout.
