David Carreira charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Carreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bento Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Idalécio Leite having to make a save. CUBE BIKE BTT's Cătălin Ciolpan got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Idalécio Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Miranda's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Cătălin Ciolpan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUBE BIKE BTT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Ciolpan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Alexandrino Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Atabueira got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Fiúza. Atabueira's Idalécio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Baptista in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute CUBE BIKE BTT were awarded a corner. Dario Federici went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dario Federici almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atabueira's Idalécio Leite did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bento Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUBE BIKE BTT's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idalécio Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cătălin Ciolpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Leite having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Tomás Parente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idalécio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Ciolpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. João Miranda struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Idalécio Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUBE BIKE BTT. 44 minutes into the match, CUBE BIKE BTT's goalkeeper Afonso Assunção had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo lago. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Resende to strike the kick off in the second half. João Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Idalécio Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. João Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Idalécio Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes Atabueira got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Freitas. Idalécio Leite was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dario Federici. 56 minutes into the match, CUBE BIKE BTT's Cătălin Ciolpan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Idalécio Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Miranda got free with Idalécio Leite in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Idalécio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Ciolpan in the 62nd minute of the match. A hard shot 64 in the game by Bento Baptista from a close distance when the talented Idalécio Leite managed to make a qualified save. Atabueira's players were relieved. When Tomás Parente fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atabueira's protests and gave Tomás Parente a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Parente hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of CUBE BIKE BTT booed when Atabueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Fiúza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bento Baptista in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Idalécio Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of CUBE BIKE BTT booed when Atabueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Carreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cătălin Ciolpan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Idalécio Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Cătălin Ciolpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play Atabueira's Tomás Parente was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tomás Parente kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Cătălin Ciolpan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Idalécio Leite. Atabueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cătălin Ciolpan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Cătălin Ciolpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CUBE BIKE BTT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
