Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Gomes kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Liher in the 5th minute of play forced Milhais's goalkeeper Zeferino Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Milhais defense, Tomás Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeferino Lousada. The Milhais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeferino Lousada should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Gomes in the 15th minute of play forced Milhais's goalkeeper Zeferino Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeferino Lousada came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Veigas's Angelo Loren. But to his dismay, Angelo Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Zeferino Lousada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Gomes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Salvador Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Liher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Santiago Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milhais and the Veigas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Milhais's Santiago Madureira got a free kick in the 27th minute. Zeferino Lousada didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Veigas's Tomás Gomes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Gomes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeferino Lousada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeferino Lousada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Liher, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Milhais's Zeferino Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Gomes in the 34th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Lisboa was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tomás Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milhais's Zeferino Lousada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Milhais from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Milhais's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonso Amorim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 62nd minute of the match, Salvador Liher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeferino Lousada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zeferino Lousada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Amorim in the 74th minute of the match. Alberto Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeferino Lousada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Gomes in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Bandeira in the 80th minute of play forced Veigas's goalkeeper Adelino Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeferino Lousada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Liher in the 85th minute of the match. Alberto Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veigas's Salvador Liher got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Gomes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeferino Lousada saved Milhais from getting behind. Zeferino Lousada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Liher, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Tomás Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Zeferino Lousada made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Gomes in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeferino Lousada saved Milhais from getting behind. With a little luck, Milhais's Zeferino Lousada got control of the ball when Tomás Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Milhais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Veigas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
