Spectators: 7196 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) 3 minutes into the match, LOW LAND LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Cassiano Caldeira came free, but Simão Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Carvalheira in the 4th minute of play. The LOW LAND LIONS fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when LOW LAND LIONS's Amador Lauro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Conquistadores FC's Luís Varela got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sérgio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adelino Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassiano Caldeira in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Anjos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conquistadores FC's Adelino Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Lauro in the 23rd minute of play. Amador Lauros short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Adelino Saraiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Conquistadores FC's zone, Sérgio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Saraiva came out of the goal and Sérgio Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Lauro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Adelino Saraiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apostol Radev got free with Adelino Saraiva in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amador Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fernando Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LOW LAND LIONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Garcia couldn't finish the play. If Amador Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Adelino Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOW LAND LIONS. Adelino Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Lauro in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Pinhal was the one to do the kick off. Adelino Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Conquistadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Lauro came free, but Adelino Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Lucílio Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes Conquistadores FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Lauro who took care of the corner kick. When LOW LAND LIONS's Amador Lauro in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conquistadores FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Amador Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Saraiva was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Amador Lauro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Conquistadores FC's Adelino Saraiva. Adelino Saraiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adelino Saraiva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by LOW LAND LIONS's Cristiano Amaro. But to his dismay, Cristiano Amaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 77 minutes into the match, Conquistadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Stevens came free, but Adelino Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostol Radev in the 83rd minute of play. Apostol Radev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Amador Lauro made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Saraiva. Conquistadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The audience was convinced that Amador Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Saraiva was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LOW LAND LIONS had played much better football throughout.
