The Passadouro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bento Salgueiro should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higino Paredes during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Passadouro FC's Higino Paredes got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Paulo Barbosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Passadouro FC's Bento Salgueiro didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Passadouro FC's Januário Caetano got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Joaquim Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Leite was the one to do the kick off. Bento Salgueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Leite in the 53rd minute of the match. Alvor's Miguel Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bento Salgueiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Alvor's Joaquim Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Salgueiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Miguel Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bento Salgueiro made a huge save. If Angélico Paixão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angélico Paixão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Santos having to interfere. Joaquim Gomess short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Bento Salgueiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Alvor's zone, Angélico Paixão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Santos came out of the goal and Angélico Paixão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Salgueiro came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvor's Joaquim Gomes. But to his dismay, Joaquim Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Passadouro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miguel Leite fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Alvor's Miguel Leite in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Passadouro FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Passadouro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alvor's performance. The match ended with a win for Alvor.
