Fernando Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lázaro Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fernando Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Cruz having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albérico Ventura during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lázaro Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Fernando Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcochete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Nunes in the 34th minute of play forced Barrada FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrada FC's Lázaro Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Barrada FC from getting a goal against them. Barrada FC's Evandro Colaço got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Evandro Colaço off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Barrada FC's zone, Fernando Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Cruz came out of the goal and Fernando Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Fernando Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcochete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Rui Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Rui Nunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lázaro Cruz. Rui Nunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 87th minute Rui Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barrada FC's Maurício Santos got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Rui Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcochete FC's protests and gave Rui Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. Rui Nunes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Fernando Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alcochete FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
