In the 13th minute of the match Eusébio Lisboa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Paiva skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Kornelius got free with Filipe Paiva in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evora's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
