Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Filipe Rocha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristiano Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Vaz in the 4th minute of the match. João Antunes scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Bruno Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Carvao FC's zone, Bento Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Oliveira came out of the goal and Bento Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Setúbal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Boassas's Bento Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mário Santos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Boassas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Bento Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Barros was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes, João Antunes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carvao FC's Raul Oliveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Carvao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Barros came free, but Raul Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Antunes in the 65th minute of play forced Carvao FC's goalkeeper Raul Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Rocha in the 66th minute of play forced Boassas's goalkeeper Cristiano Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Rocha in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Bento Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carvao FC's Xavier Pereira got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Boassas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adolfo Figueiredo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, João Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boassas's supporters rose to their feet, but João Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
