With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Pacheco in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Vasques saved Cerzedelo from getting behind. When Gonçalo Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the F.C.Ajuda fans jumped to their feet. Egídio Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Pacheco got free with Egídio Vasques in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Óscar Faro's late challenge caught a Cerzedelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Faro helped the player get up and apologised. Óscar Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Paulo Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Serpa in the 67th minute of play. With his leg Egídio Vasques managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when F.C.Ajuda's Armando Pacheco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egídio Vasques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Pacheco in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Cerzedelo booed when F.C.Ajuda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Armando Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Ajuda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cerzedelo's Egídio Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Paiva in the 96th minute of play. The Cerzedelo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
