After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Adriano Mota got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Golembiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s zone, Adriano Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfredo Moreira came out of the goal and Adriano Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jakub Golembiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jakub Golembiewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Caldeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Mota in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manfredo Moreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sílvio Bezerra hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Miguel Caldeira came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s Joel Tohias. But to his dismay, Joel Tohias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joel Tohias might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Caldeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Caldeira having to interfere. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Miguel Caldeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Tohias in the 43rd minute of play.

Manfredo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Bezerra in the 52nd minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Tobias Rangel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Rangel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Moreira having to interfere. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Golembiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Tohias to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Neto got free with Miguel Caldeira in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Vasco Ruas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Vasco Ruas got a free kick in the 79th minute. ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s Joel Tohias got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Caldeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Caldeira having to interfere. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Tohias was slow to take the kick. During this time ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Tohias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Caldeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Caldeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when ██▓▒░ Dark Elements ░▒▓██ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
