SC Sintra's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascoal Fagundes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Sobral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Igrejas having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivaldo Loureiro made a kick off. Tomás Mansilha charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a left leg Pascoal Fagundes saved CF Belenenses from getting behind. Vivaldo Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Vivaldo Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sintra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to CF Belenenses getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tomás Mansilha hit a great ball. Vivaldo Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascoal Fagundes having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, SC Sintra's Fernando Chagas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascoal Fagundes was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Sintra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
