Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hermenegildo Abreu got the match started through his kick off. When Fernando Lima got free in front of the goal in the 11th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Adélio Pimentel was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fernando Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almarjinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adélio Pimentel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Lima scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adélio Pimentel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SC Frades fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adélio Pimentel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Frades's zone, Fernando Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adélio Pimentel came out of the goal and Fernando Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45thth minute of the game João Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Frades's Adélio Pimentel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Porto made a kick off. Fernando Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adélio Pimentel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game João Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Frades's Adélio Pimentel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adelino Neves, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SC Frades's Manuel Ribeiro pulled a muscle in his back after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alberto Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Almarjinho FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for SC Frades. Fernando Limas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Adélio Pimentel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Porto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If João Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adélio Pimentel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Lima in the 80th minute. SC Frades's Adélio Pimentel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Frades from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, João Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adélio Pimentel.
