After a defensive mix-up in Apilata's zone, Horácio Domingos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Carvalho came out of the goal and Horácio Domingos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Super Bock CP's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Sales came free, but Alexandre Madeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Super Bock CP's David Caires made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Carvalho came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Super Bock CP's Adérito Lisboa. But to his dismay, Adérito Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Apilata's Sandro Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Caires in the 24th minute of play. Óscar Valadão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Alexandre Madeira made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Super Bock CP's goalkeeper Alexandre Madeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óscar Valadão. In the 28th minute of the match, Óscar Valadão got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexandre Madeira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 29 played minutes Super Bock CP got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Valadares. After 33 minutes, Miguel Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apilata and the Super Bock CP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Apilata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adérito Lisboa's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. David Caires struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sandro Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Bock CP. Adérito Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Carvalho having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Salvador Valadares put in a rough tackle. In the 41st minute, one of Super Bock CP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Super Bock CP.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Sales was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Oliveira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. David Caires hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Horácio Domingos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sandro Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Adérito Lisboa sped through Apilata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandro Carvalho. A collision led to Super Bock CP getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Horácio Domingos hit a great ball. If David Caires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Apilata got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Campos. Adérito Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sandro Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adérito Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Sandro Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Bock CP. Adérito Lisboa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Flávio Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Super Bock CP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Freitas couldn't finish the play. Sandro Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adérito Lisboa in the 87th minute of the match. Adérito Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes, Super Bock CP's David Amaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Super Bock CP reached it. 96 minutes into the match, Super Bock CP's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Vasconcelos came free, but Alexandre Madeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard, long distance shot from Adérito Lisboa flew over the goal. Super Bock CP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
