SC Gamenhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Neves was a little too slow when Luís Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 3-0. But to his dismay, Paulo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Laurentino Sequeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gamenhos's Fábio Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, SC Gamenhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Coimbra to maneuver through the defense.
