To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When G.D. But to his dismay, Filipe Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Asgard FK's Bento Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Sanches having to interfere. Albertino Coimbra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hélder Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, G.D. Arvorense's Afonso Aguiar made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Vicente Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When G.D. Vicente Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Arvorense's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
