Heitor Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Paixão having to interfere. Tiago Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Diogo Ferrão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Diamantino Paixão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Monteiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Diamantino Paixão firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stig FC's Diamantino Paixão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Stig FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Lavajo booed when Stig FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Salvado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Paixão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulo Santos. In the 41st match minute, Lavajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Alves to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Heitor Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Roriz got free with Eusébio Baptista in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Paredes in the 67th minute of play forced Stig FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Stig FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Monteiro came free, but Diamantino Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Heitor Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Lavajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Martins to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Ferrão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Tiago Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lavajo's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Paixão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stig FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Paixão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig FC's Diamantino Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Paredes in the 98th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Monteiro in the 99th minute of play forced Stig FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lavajo fully deserved thier win.
