Academia Saloia's João Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Sá in the 5th minute of play. João Paredes was a little too slow when Cristiano Sá got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. 44 minutes into the match, Academia Saloia's goalkeeper João Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Costa. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Laércio Esparteiro put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, LameiroFC's Emanuel Oliveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Paredes. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Toscano was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. João Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Samuel Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
