Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Longasd's Valério Alcântara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Joaquim Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Longasd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 7 played minutes, SC Longasd's Vicente Linhares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Longasd reached it. Vicente Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Valério Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Amado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Vicente Castro made a huge save. Vicente Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Mendonça in the 16th minute. Alfredo Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Escapaes FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alfredo Sá hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Mário Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escapaes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Longasd the free kick. In the 20th minute, one of Escapaes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Escapaes FC. Valério Alcântara scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Escapaes FC booed when SC Longasd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilário Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Raposo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Santos's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Porfírio Vilaça put in a rough tackle. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Longasd! Mário Pinheiro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Vicente Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Escapaes FC booed when SC Longasd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilário Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Joaquim Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Longasd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Longasd's Artur Amado got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Santos made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Escapaes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Mendonça came free, but Vicente Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Alcântara went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Miguel Quental had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Castro having to interfere. Vicente Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Amado in the 62nd minute of the match. Joaquim Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joaquim Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Artur Amado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Faria got free with Osvaldo Raposo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Raposo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Carlos Faria made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Raposo. SC Longasd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Osvaldo Raposo was a little too slow when Gil Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 5-2. Gil Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Raposo made a huge save. Carlos Faria struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Osvaldo Raposo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escapaes FC. When SC Longasd's Joaquim Alcântara in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Escapaes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Joaquim Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the SC Longasd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Raposo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Santos in the 95th minute of play. SC Longasd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
